Chef Rico let his imagination travel down the Mississippi River all the way to the Louisiana Delta to create a fantastic New Orleans themed summer dinner party. The prominent cuisine in this region is Creole which is a fusion of flavors emerging from immigrants with European, African and Native American roots. The French influence is strongest, but vestiges of Italian, Spanish, German, and even Caribbean can be found.

The essence of Creole is found in rich sauces, local herbs, red ripe tomatoes, and the prominent use of seafood, Think of rich, roux-based gumbo, shrimp creole, grits, jambalaya, red beans and rice, and so much more. As always, it’s a treat to see how Chef Rico interprets the cuisine and puts his twist on the strongest example of regional cuisine in our nation.

This special event will be hosted on the beautiful patio at The Barn at Wight Farm. The price is $65 per person. Seating is limited so call The Barn at 774-241-8450 and make your reservations now!
